CAMP KADIMA will have your family JUMPING FOR JOY IN NOVEMBER!
Do you need some time to prepare for the Thanksgiving Holiday
while your children are off from school? Are your children
still talking about camp and missing all the fun they had on
their field trips? Well here’s an awesome idea!!!. Register your
children for our upcoming special holiday Camp Kadima field trip
to the “JUMP ZONE”, where they can bounce away some of that
endless energy, spend some quality time with old and new
friends, as well as our enthusiastic camp staff, while you get
that last minute shopping and cooking done.
Location: Jump Zone,12402 Race track Rd, Tampa
Date: Wednesday, November 25th
Time: 9:30 am-1:30 pm
Cost: $29.95 per child, which includes:
transportation to Jump Zone from both the JCC of Pinellas County
& the Golda Meir/Kent Jewish Center
admission to venue
cheese pizza lunch
ice cream snack
professional supervision
Children must be registered and paid in full no later than
Friday, October 30th. A minimum of 15 children are required for
this event, however there are limited spaces available.This trip
is available to any child.

Real Lives Movie Series

Monika Hertwig grapples with her father Amon Goeth's appalling
legacy as a Nazi responsible for killing thousands of Jews. In a
moving act of reconciliation, Monika meets with Helen Jonas-Rosezweig,
her father's Jewish maid and slave during the war. Deeply
disturbed by actor Ralph Fiennes's portrayal of her father as an
inhuman monster in the film Schindler's List, Monika tries to
overcome her guilt by coming to terms with the past. Length:75

Beginning Digital Photography
Every Thursday at 6:00 PM Includes 1 meeting per month with the
North Pinellas Photo Forum
This beginner’s class offers the perfect introduction to digital
photography. Students may use any digital camera. Topics include
Exposure, Lighting, Flash Photography, Composition, camera
controls, equipment, filters lenses, and use of digital
cameras. Weekly assignments are given and images from the
assignments will be critiqued. Emphasis is placed on learning
your camera and taking better pictures.
THE MUSIC WITH MAR PROGRAM
Thursdays at 10 AM
Instructor: Karen Gliddon
Music with Mar is a 45 minute class where a care giver and a
child participate together in musical activities which enhance
the four main areas of development - cognitive, social, motor
and language. A good music foundation, as well as an all around
good academic foundation, is laid through the use of well
thought out lyrics and movements. Music with Mar classes focus
on the total development of the child, and not on musicality.
Children learn best through play and activation of many senses.
This program provides an environment where the parent and child
are comfortable.
Cost: $7.00/session for Adult and one or more children. Pay as
you attend or $30.00 for a block of five classes.(does not need
to be consecutive weeks). Price is per family/not per child.
Activities include: puppets, rhythm instruments, kazoos, bean
bags, paradebooks.
What makes "Music with Mar" different? The mission of the MwM
program is to get more parents involved with their children in
positive activities while using music to prepare them for the
future!
