Positive Parenting Class at The North Center

Come learn some easy techniques for Positive Parenting from Claire Yogman.  Claire has the knowledge that will help you and your family with over 30+ years of experience in Early Childhood Education.  She is a former teacher at Pauline Rivkind Pre-school at Congregation B’nai Israel, employee of the Pinellas County License Board for Children’s Centers and Family Day Care Homes and has worked for Directions for the past seven years in the Early Childhood Consultation Program, teaching parent education.  This will be an interactive course with plenty of time for Q & A and helpful hints handouts will be available. C.H.I.S.E.L. Workshop

Create Huge Improvement Strength Endurance & Leanness that will change your life.  Instructor Joan Williams has instructed at gyms and wellness centers since 1981, she incorporates cardio, strength training, Pilates and Yoga into the C.H.I.S.E.L  program to create optimum wellness!  Weekly classes will begin in April! 

Workshop Cost: $6.00 Member & $8.00 Non-member.

 

ADULT SOFTBALL has come to the JCC’s of Pinellas!  Reserve your spot on the JCC teams today. Games will be held Monday nights at Eddie Moore softball complex in Clearwater (North Team) and Wednesday night at North Shore Park in St. Petersburg (South Team). Gentle Meditation

Beginning Digital Photography
Every Thursday at 6:00 PM Includes 1 meeting per month with the North Pinellas Photo Forum

This beginner’s class offers the perfect introduction to digital photography. Students may use any digital camera. Topics include Exposure, Lighting, Flash Photography, Composition, camera controls, equipment, filters lenses, and use of digital cameras. Weekly assignments are given and images from the assignments will be critiqued.  Emphasis is placed on learning your camera and taking better pictures.
